Following the work rendered by the AEPSP this summer to the Senate Committee, the rapporteurs retained in their proposals several elements which are extracted from it and which directly concern psychologists working in the Fire District Commands, with the recognition of their expertise, the observation of the need to change their statutes and the organization of their missions at the national level.

Many first responders lack the courage to speak out about this mental illness, others have no words to describe it. It's an invisible disease, but still, it's there. It hides in our mind and grows inside, making us sick sooner or later.

Last week, we contacted Daniel, paramedic and firefighter, who creates incredible images of EMS scenarios that reflect the delicate situations experienced by first responders every day.

This application is intended to make a consensual inventory on psychotrauma, so that the victims but also their families can be informed, counseled, but also directed towards health professionals expert in psychotrauma.

This application also allows a psychological, but not diagnostic, assessment of traumatic symptomatology, and offers in addition exercises and games to relieve symptoms from breathing techniques, relaxation ... (these will evolve and new will be added very soon).

Finally, this application has an important point: the referencing of health professionals who are experts in the field, the referencing of institutions ... and the possibility of connecting these experts with patients, families ...
